The Edison downtown has a fabulous happy hour every Friday from 5-7 p.m. Every person who comes during happy hour (no cover) gets a postcard for a $.35 cocktail (my whiskey pomegranate concoction was tasty) and you get a ticket for a mini-grilled cheese sandwich and tiny cup of tomato soup.
The Edison is *very* fancy. No flip flops or T-shirts allowed. Almost all the women were in short dresses and heels. Men were in slacks and many had jackets. Jeans were rare.
The underground building used to be part of the power plant and has all kinds of dark nooks and crannies, over sized chairs, and couches. Entrance is off the alley.
