There is a new Crown Books Liquidation Center in the old Mervyn's located at Fallbrook and Victory in West Hills. The store just opened and will remain open for 6-8 months. The store consists of 2 areas, 1 for used or discontinued books all for $1.00 each. The other side is new books discounted at 50% off list price. There are some great bargains in the store but ambiance is not what it is about. The store is run down, stained carpet and everything is set up on folding tables. Not a place you want to "hang out" but great prices which is what you are going there for.
